News: After many years breeding this wonderful cats I have decide to stop my breeding this year. It's a long growing decision and after thinking about it, the last two years, it's now time to say goodbye ;-). Nando is a happy neuter since some weeks. Naima will follow as soon the kittens have moved in their new homes. I will repeat the litter between Coco & Killix Gameboy Gucci and keep a baby-boy as a pet - showcat. Coco will be neutered at the end of 2005 too. Of course we will keep all our cats and time will show how this bunch of neuters will do together ;-). we are glad that we have found lots of very wonderful friends all over the world since the last years. It has been an exciting time which I have really enjoyed :-))

Behind Beetlejuice Norwegian Forest Cats you will find me: Christina Heinig, born in 1966, married with Andreas Benz, also a "wild" ´66.

I started breeding in 1992 as a member of the 1. DEKZV which I already left two years later, in order to breed my cats as a member of the SDRV. According to the motto "back to the roots" I returned to the FIFe and with that to the 1. DEKZV in 1997.

With the Norwegians I mostly appreciate the tall and strong type with a thick coat and of course with that "certain something". In my opinion these animals must have a certain aura. To see only the standard of a Norwegian is out of the question for me. The overall impression of a cat is much more important to me. Of course, the standard is the preference for any discussion.

You won´t find the much-cited "New Colours" in my breeding. It has never been my goal to follow any trend.
I don´t have a great liking for small, long heads and elegant Norwegians. I prefer the cosy bears with thick paws. If you are looking for a troll for your life we´d like to invite you to meet our cuddle tigers.
